Børstet Alpakka is a brushed alpaca yarn from Sandnes Garnin. Soft and fluffy Suri Alpaca fiber is spun around a Nylon core which gives the yarn a strength. Color chart has many heathered colors, but for example marine and red are totally solid. Softness makes this yarn perfect for tube collars, shawls and oversized cardigans.

Alpaca is softer, warmer and more durable than sheep wool. Alpaca wool lacks lanoline and roughness that is characteristic for sheep wool and that's why it suits for most of those who are allergic for wool.
