Sandnes Garn Alpakka Ull Alpaca Wool Yarn

Sandnes Garn Alpakka Ull contains 65% alpaca and 35% wool. In this blend, the yarn retains the softness and insulating properties of the alpaca fiber, while the wool provides lightness and elasticity. Both alpaca and wool have good heat-regulating properties. Alpakka Ull is a soft and durable quality for both adults and children knits, such as sweaters, mittens, scarves and hats. Worsted weight for gauge of 19 to 22 sts per 10cm on 3.5mm to 5mm needles.

The alpaca wool in this quality comes from Peru and Bolivia. The wool comes from Australia and Uruguay, guaranteed mulesing free.
