De Rerum Natura Gilliatt Woolen Spun Merino Yarn

De Rerum Natura Gilliatt is a woolen spun Merino yarn from France. It is a soft blend of French (MacoMérinos) and Portuguese (Arles Merino) merino wool. The yarn is soft, full and round making it perfect for all kinds of projects from cardigans, accessories to baby knits. The color chart consists of beautiful deep and vivid colors as well as subtly dyed mottled colors. There are also undyed colors in the collection.

The merino sheep are raised in a respectful way with focus on the wool quality. The wool  is low processed, washed in Belgium or Italy, spun and dyed in France. The yarn manufacturing steps are performed in short circuit with traceability and reducing the environmental impact in mind.

Gilliatt is DK weight yarn, needle recommendation 4-4.50mm needles for 18-20 sts per 10cm, 4-5 sts per inch.
