Isager Soft Fine Alpaca Yak Silk Yarn

ISAGER SOFT FINE has a core of silk on which a strand of alpaca and yak is added as a loopy bouclé, which is then finally brushed to make a fluffy yarn.
Yarn contains wool from yaks and the depth of the colours derives from the dark colour of the yak wool. Its softness compares to Silk Mohair, knitting with this yarn, however, is a completely different experience, especially when knitting with one strand only. The yarn is unbelievable soft and inhouse-name for this yarn is ‘Isager’s cashmere’.

A generous 25 g ball contains 150 m of yarn. It is knitted well in single crochets with 3-3.5 mm needles to a density of about 24-28 sts, and in double crochets with 3.5-4.5 mm needles to a density of about 20-23 sts, and in triple crochets with 5-7 mm needles to a density of about 16-19 sts = 10 cm.
