Aura Mittens feature a traditional zig-zag pattern with a tiny twist – every other zig-zag stripe is purled. Tukuwool DK is perfect for mittens so you will be guaranteed to have a toasty pair of mittens for those bleak days of winter!
You need:
70 g Tukuwool DK, 250 m/273 yds per 100 g, 100% Finnish wool
Shades Nila (ca. 10 g), Tyyni (ca. 25 g) and Aava (ca. 35 g)
Circular needle 3,5 mm/US 4, 80 cm/32” for ribbing and 4 mm/US 6, 80 cm/32” (or DPNs 3.5 mm/US 4 and 4 mm/US 6)
Stitch marker, waste yarn
Gauge 24 sts x 26 rnds = 10 cm/4” over stranded colorwork in the round (wet blocked fabric)
Mitten circumference ca. 20 cm/8”
