The Finnish word "kuusi" means spruce in English - so the inspiration for the design is quite clear. Did you know that over 70 % of our land is covered in forests? We know that we are the lucky ones but can’t really count on that anymore. We need to do our thing to save our planet.

Kuusi mittens have been worked on fairisle by using Brooklyn Tweed’s Shelter. You can easily adjust the size by changing needle size or yarn. The pattern has two sizes.After knitting these go to the forest! I would love to see many pair of mittens hugging the trees…
