Filcolana Merci Cotton Merino yarn

Merci is a gorgeous and very soft 4-ply yarn from Filcolana in an even blend of cotton and superwash merino wool. Merci is suitable for knitted garments for big and small, especially when the garment must be soft and not too warm. The mix of wool and cotton makes the finished garment lighter than if knitted with a pure cotton yarn. Filcolana uses Pima cotton in Merci, which is some of the finest cotton available. The merino wool, used in Merci, is mulesing free. Yarn is spun in Peru.

Fingering weight Merci knits up to 26-28sts per 10cm / 4" on 2.5-3mm needles. Knit two strands of Merci on 4mm / US6 needles for 20sts and 27 rows per 10cm / 4" to substitute a DK - Worsted weight yarn.
