Isager Alpaca 2 is the softest blend of merino wool and alpaca. Merino wool brings some structure to the yarn making Alpaca 2 a versatile yarn for both warm and comfortable sweaters and light and airy shawls and accessories.

The 2-ply yarn drapes beautifully and has a soft halo from the alpaca. 250 m/50g m skein for 3mm needles, 26 sts per 10 cm (4") gauge.

Gauge on different needles and yarn combos:

Alpaca 2: 3 mm needles = 26 sts / 30 rows

Alpaca 2 + Alpaca 1: 3 mm needles = 24 sts / 28 rows

Alpaca 2 + Alpaca 2: 3,5 mm needles = 20 sts / 26 rows

Alpaca 2 + Isager Silk Mohair: 4 mm needles = 18 sts / 24 rows
