Coast

Holst Garn Coast Coast is a 2-ply yarn, mixed by 55% Merino Lambswool and 45% Cotton. This merino blend yarn has a wide color chart, and it is one of our favorite yarns for everyday knits for every season.

Coast is a unique soft knitting yarn - Perfect for baby knits, knitwear for people with sensitive skin and anyone who just want to enjoy the softness.

Knit Coast with one strand only for light fingering gauge of 24-28 sts per 10cm. Hold it doubled for DK weight gauge of 20-22 sts per 10cm. Three strands of Coast may be used for substituting an aran to worsted weight yarn. There are endless possibilities with Coast yarn and other yarns such as silk mohair held together - try and mix!

Care: Gentle handwash or wool wash in cold water. Coast yarn contains a little spinning oil. The oil will disappear at the first wash - and the yarn becomes extremely soft, and the fabric "blooms".
