Tukuwool Nordic ReSilk is a refined fusion of Finnish spinning expertise, locally sourced materials, and understated luxury - crafted for the knitters everyday comfort. The beautiful blend of 50% Finnish wool and 50% silk recycled in Finland results in a soulful wool silk yarn that offers softness, breathability and delicate drape in a subtly tweedy texture.

Spun in Finland using a woolen-spun technique, this 2-ply yarn is airy, warm, and full of life. The slight sheen of the silk adds depth and softness to your stitches, making it an ideal yarn for sweaters, cardigans, shawls, and cozy accessories.

Truly local production: the yarn is spun in Finland from local Finnish wool and post-consumer silk fibers recycled within the country.

Unique colors using Recycled Silk Fibers

Nordic Resilk uses mechanically recycled Silk fiber (recycled in Finland) which comes in a rainbow of colors. Mixed together the recycled fiber shade is usually grey to brown, and together with Finnish Wool we get a yarn base in neutral brown to grey colors. That means every batch of Resilk is unique. The exact same blend is hard to achieve, but we aim to find repeatable color blends - soon as dyed colors also!
