Tukuwool Fingering

We proudly present Tukuwool Fingering, a unique fingering weight wool yarn from Finland. The woolen spun two-ply yarn is twisted tightly but gently to create a light and lively yarn for enjoyable knitting experience. The versatile yarn is designed for hand knitting and is well suited for various types of knits such as mittens, cardigans, shawls and more. The yarn has the original, natural hand and scent of the wool.

After the first wash the stitches lay evenly next to each other and the fabric relaxes and softens. You may block your lace garments gently to reveal and clarify the structure of the lace. There are both natural and dyed colors included in the color chart. One skein (50 g) is enough for a loose hat or a pair of mittens.

Gauge in different needles sizes:
2 mm: 30 sts = 10 cm
2,5 mm =
28 sts
3 mm = 26 sts
3,5 mm =
24 sts

Care: Handwash in cool water using wool detergent. Air your knitwear often in fresh outdoor air, which helps wool clean itself.

Due to the spinning process there might be knots in the skeins.
