Holst Garn Noble is a luxurious and soft Geelong wool and cashmere blend for light weight knitted sweaters and accessories. Noble has generous yardage and you can make a sweater from 3-5 balls, depending on your gauge and pattern.

As a light fingering weight yarn Noble works well on patterns written for lace weight or fingering too. You can try a variety of gauges, usually 6 to 7 sts per inch and 3 to 4 mm needles.

You can work with two strands to substitute a DK to Worsted weight yarn: With 4 to 5 mm needle you will achieve gauge of 4.5 to 5.5 sts per inch. 350 g would be enough for a Medium-sized sweater using double strand of Noble.

Geelong Lambswool is very soft merino wool from merino sheep in Geelong, Australia. It is often said to be almost as soft as cashmere, warm but light and smooth. The yarn has 5% cashmere in it for extra softness.

Noble is available in 50 g balls as well as Shade Bags of five colors (approx. 10 grams per each color). A shade bag would make a regular shawl or mittens.
