Punching is an embroidery technique that allows you to create unique decoration with flat stitches or loops or a combination thereof.

The flat stitches will appear at the front of the work while punching, the loops at the back. Making stitches on both the front and back in the same project will create a unique result with different textures. The punch technique can be used to decorate bags or cushion covers, for example, and you can use it to create the most beautiful wall decorations.

The KnitPro Punch needle set is the perfect complete set for a variety of punching projects. The set is beautifully designed in smooth finished wood and a metal tip.

The complete KnitPro Punch needle set consists of the following parts:

1 x wooden handle
4 x metal punch needle in 2mm, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm thickness
3 x metal needle adapter in 2mm, 3mm and 4mm thickness; the 5mm needle does not require an adapter and can be attached directly to the handle
2 x Threader
1 x User Manual

With the screw on the handle it is possible to adjust the length of the needle, and thus the length of the loops. With the different needles, you can process different yarn thicknesses. The 2mm needle is suitable for a lace weight yarn (maximum 1.5mm thick). The 3mm needle is perfect for fingering and sport weight yarns and the 4mm needle is for DK weight yarns. With the largest needle, 5mm, you can use worsted or bulky weight yarns in your punching project.

The set is packaged in a beautifully embroidered pouch made of denim fabric that closes with a zipper. Available in two color variants: a cheerful rainbow set, Vibrant Wood, and a set in earthy tones, Earthy Wood
