Ystävä cardigan by Jonna Hietala has been one of the most knitted cardigans and it works well with many yarn combinations. Original version is made from DK weight wool + silk mohair but you can get the same gauge with many other yarns. Siina made her own from Tukuwool Sock + Tynn Silk Mohair and I made mine from Tukuwool Fingering + Tilia to get a bit lighter version. 

I used 6 skeins of Tukuwool Fingering and 5 skeins of Tilia to the size 4. 

SIZES
1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9)

Recommended ease: approx. 6” / 15 cm of positive ease.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Bust circumference: 35.25 (39.25, 42.5, 47.5, 51.25, 55.25, 59.25, 63.75, 67)” / 88 (98, 105.5, 118.5, 128, 138, 147.5, 159.5, 167) cm.

Arm circumference: 13.75 (14.75, 15.5, 16.75, 18, 18.75, 20, 20.25, 21)” / 34 (37, 39, 42, 44, 47, 50, 51, 52.5) cm.

Length from underarm to hem: 10” / 25.5 cm or desired length.

Sleeve length from underarm: 16.5” / 42 cm or desired length.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9) skeins of DK weight yarn (219 yds / 200 m – 100 g) and 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9) balls of Silk Mohair by Isager (75% super kid mohair, 25% silk), 232 yds / 212 m – 25 g.



Siina used 6 skeins of Tukuwool Sock and 6 skeins of Tynn Silk Mohair to the size 4.
