The clutch is crocheted from the bottom up. First, a chain of chain stitches is made, then you crochet in the round using puff stitches and increases to form a square base. The work is continued in the round with puff stitches, without increases, until you have reached the desired length. Finally, an edge is knitted in stockinette stitch and folded around the clutch frame. The lining is sewn and attached at the end.
