Soak Wash 90ml

Soak Wash 90 ml is a gentle laundry detergent designed especially for knitwear.

It is suitable for sweaters, activewear, underwear, and other garments that require delicate care. Easy to use, Soak is a no-rinse detergent. The ingredients are eco-friendly and biodegradable, and the bottles are made from recycled plastic with water-soluble printing inks. Soak has a long shelf life and does not become cloudy over time. Available in delicious, sweet scents as well as a fragrance-free option.

How to use Soak:

Check colorfastness: Rub a small amount of Soak Wash onto an inconspicuous area of the garment and let it sit for 2 minutes. Rinse. If no dye transfers, your knitwear is safe to wash with Soak.

Be prepared for dirt: If you haven’t hand-washed knitwear before, you may be surprised by how much dirt and dust comes out. If the water becomes very dirty, pour it out and repeat the wash.

Don’t worry about excess dye: Soak Wash may release unabsorbed dye left in the yarn from the dyeing process. If the water becomes colored, that’s normal and will not damage your knitwear. Dye release can also occur in machine washing.

Remove excess water: Gently squeeze out as much water as possible without wringing or twisting. Do not lift the garment in a way that allows the weight of the water to stretch it. To remove additional moisture, roll the garment inside a clean bath towel. You may also spin it in a washing machine if the care instructions allow for a gentle spin cycle.

Dry flat: Lay the garment flat on a towel and shape it to its original measurements, or pin it onto a blocking mat using blocking pins. Ensure good ventilation and airflow. Turn the garment occasionally during drying so both sides dry evenly.

Wash your swatch too: Measure your gauge swatch after it has dried. Knitted fabric relaxes after washing, and the stitch density may change.
