Scheepjes Candy Floss is made from 100% Organic Mercerised Cotton. The thread has a high twist and a smooth, glossy finish, resulting in beautifully defined stitches and a professional look. It does not split, ensuring comfortable and precise work. Thanks to these qualities, Candy Floss is perfect for free embroidery, Sashiko stitching, tatting, hand quilting, micro crochet projects such as amigurumi and jewellery, as well as crocheted edging on blankets, accessories and garments.

This cotton thread is both GOTS and OEKO-TEX® certified. A fully organic wastewater treatment system is used during production, allowing water to be safely recycled and reused. Candy Floss also holds the EN 71-3 certification, meaning it is safe for people with sensitive skin and suitable for toys, clothing and accessories for babies and children. Scheepjes Candy Floss is available in 52 solid colours, perfectly matching the shades in the Scheepjes Catona, Cahlista, Maxi Sweet Treat and Maxi Sugar Rush collections. The thread size is No. 10, with a recommended needle or hook size of 0.75–1.25 mm. It is machine washable at 40°C.
