Pohjolan emäntä - new pattern for Tukuwool Fingering

Jenna K., better known as Ihtiriekkoknits in social media, has released a new design to Tukuwool Fingering called Pohjolan emäntä. This sweater is part of her knitted Kalevala project.

Louhi is the mistress of Northland (Pohjola), Northland’s old and toothless wizard, a mother of breathtakingly beautiful daughters, a woman who defends her possessions by transforming her- self into a bird. Louhi gave me inspiration for a sweater combining softly rustic Finnish wool, shades of a forest, and mystic symbols of powerful Northern women.

Colors in the design are  Selja (main color) ja Anga (contrast). You can buy the pattern from Ravelry.

Check out the yarn requirements on your desired size and add Selja and Anga to your cart.
