Morning Salutation Vegan

Morning Salutation from Kremke Soul Wool combines fine Greek cotton and lyocell-fiber (TENCEL ™). Lyocell is produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. The entire process is controlled and certified. This process requires less water, making Lyocell an eco-friendly option. This yarn is suitable for vegans. 

Morning Salutation cotton-lyocell yarn is a cool and light yarn, especially suitable for summer knits. It has also antibacterial qualities and it absorbs moisture. The yarn has a beautiful sheen and lovely drape. Suitable also for baby knits. Comes in a variety of shades, from neutral to vibrant colours. 

TENCEL™ has made a name for itself thanks to its environmentally conscious, closed-loop manufacturing process, which transforms pulp into cellulose fibers with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact. This solvent spinning process recycles the process water and returns more than 99% of the solvent to the production cycle. You can therefore be confident that your choice is environmentally friendly, and PETA calls this fiber an "eco-friendly all-rounder."

The cotton comes from Greece. Cotton and Tencel are spun into this beautiful yarn in Bulgaria. And the dyes are free of animal products, making this yarn suitable for vegans.

For an adult  Medium-size sweater you’ll need approximately 300-350 grams, depending on your gauge and pattern.

Care: Delicate wash, dry flat. Plant fiber yarns stretch when wet, please handle the garment with care when washing.

Caution: Due to the weight, large knitted pieces may lengthen slightly, which should be taken into account from the outset.
