Toivo Festival Shawl English/Finnish knitting pattern as a pdf emailed to you after purchase and stored to your account at titityy.fi
The annual official Jyväskylä Knit Fest shawl Toivo is designed by Titityy owner Tiina. Related to Jyväskylän Kesä event theme of 2023 - hope, the shawl is named "Toivo", which means hope in Finnish. If the world needs anything right now, it's hope. We have lived in completely extraordinary times, which have made us see and experience the harshest aspects of life. Still, we hope that knitting this shawl, stitch by stitch, we will walk together towards a better tomorrow. For as long as there is hope, there is also life.
Toivo is an easy lace shawl that makes a great first lace project for even a beginner knitter. The shawl is knitted from wing to wing by making an increase on every right side row along the left side of the work.
