Filcolana Mashdale

Filcolana Mashdale is a soft wool yarn with a rustic look, created by its blend of fibres

It is made from 75% white Corriedale wool and 25% brown Masham wool. By leaving the Masham wool in its natural brown shade and dyeing only the white wool, a beautiful play of colours is created throughout the yarn. Whether you use Mashdale for cables, colourwork or stockinette, it produces a beautiful melange look that adds wonderful depth to the finished garment.

Mashdale is worsted spun at a traditional family-run spinning mill, where a passion for wool and yarn has been passed down through generations. Th yarn is perfect for children's garments, hats and sweaters, and can be knitted either on its own or together with our other yarn qualities – the possibilities are almost endless.
