The sweater is knitted from neck down. Stitches are cast on for the back piece, which is worked back and forth with short rows and increases to form a European shoulder. Stitches are then picked up for the front pieces. The work is joined by picking up stitches along the front and back pieces to form the sleeve cap. The front bands and collar are knitted last. Choose whether you want to knit the edge with or without buttonholes and buttons.
