Circular needles are handy tools for all kinds of knitting projects. You can always substitute straight needles or double pointed needles with a flexible, high quality circular needle. We carry Knit Pro and Chiaogoo - brands that we can recommend. Both brands have fixed and interchangeable needles that you can choose from.
When you knit with straight needles, especially heavier projects may cause pain on your wrists when you have support the weight of the work mostly on one hand. When you use circulars, the weight of a large garment is divided evenly on both hands and the work lays ergonomically on your lap.
Double pointed needles are handy for small projects such as socks, but you can use a circular needle too! You can knit a small project in the round using a long circular - a technique called Magic Loop. When using a circular needle, the work doesn't slip off needles. Few or no ladders form between the stitches when you use Magic Loop technique.
Cable knitting is easy when using a cable needle. Try the classic bent cable needles or the straight wooden cable needle. YOGA cable needles are a rewarded new product for knitting cables or holding stitches.
We have a wide range of knitting needles and crochet hooks from our trusted brands: Knit Pro makes needles in metallic, birch and carbon fiber, Prym Ergonomics needles and a selection of high quality ChiaoGoo Red Lace circulars.

Villapesumosaiikki huiviohje on julkaistu suomen kielellä Ravelryssa. Seuraa Villapesuohjelmaa instagramissa, niin kuulet viimeisimmät huiviin liittyvät uutiset.
Huivi neulotaan kolmella värillä, joita tarvitset yhden vyyhdin kutakin.
This pattern is called Tikkuri or Luotolainen and it's one of the oldiest Finnish knitting patterns. Originally this sweater was knitted in Hailuoto, in an island near Oulu, to fisher men. Taito Shop Oulu has written the pattern again to honor this 200 years old tradition but unfortunately the pattern is only in Finnish at the moment. We have hope they would translate the pattern into English soon.
Islantilainen kuuluisa villalanka Léttlopi jatkaa suosiotaan! Jo muutama vuosi sitten ilmestynyt malli Riddari on yksi suosituimmista neulemalleista kautta aikain.

Onni means "happiness" in English and the name of this shawl is just perfect - the wool for Tukuwool Hakamaa comes from Hakamaa farm, where the sheep live happily. If you have followed the life in the farm (if not, take a look at their IG account) you know what we mean. It wasn't hard to tempt Anna Johanna to design something beautiful for Tukuwool Hakamaa Fingering!
Onni Shawl is also the first official pattern for Tukuwool Hakamaa Fingering. You need 200 g of the yarn and you will get the pattern free with purchasing the yarn until 7th June (we have both Finnish and English printed versions) or until the stock lasts.
When you purchase at least two skeins of Hakamaa Fingering and use the campaign code ONNIEN at shopping cart, you receive Onni Shawl pattern print free of charge with you order. Pattern is available in English.
The campaign is valid until June 7th or as long as the stock lasts.
