Additionally, silk, like wool, provides insulation and retains heat in colder weather.

The silk fibers used in the production of this yarn are collected from cocoons after the chrysalises have matured into moths and emerged. The little butterfly on the label signifies that the chrysalises were allowed to transform into butterflies, allowing them to complete their natural life cycle.
