PetiteKnit Copenhagen Cardigan Pattern. This pattern is in English.
The Copenhagen Cardigan is knit flat from the top down with raglan increases. The neckline is shaped with short rows. The cardigan is knit in stockinette stitch, with a vertical rib along the front edges for the button bands. The buttonholes are worked at the end (so you do not need to work them as you knit the button band). As an extra detail, the Copenhagen Cardigan features inside pockets. The sleeves are knit in the round in stockinette stitch either on double pointed needles (dpns) or on circular needles using Magic Loop technique.
Size guide
The Copenhagen Cardigan is a short cardigan and it is designed to be worn with a positive ease of approximately 6-11 cm at the bust. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) correspond to a bust measurement of around 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) cm, and have those extra 6-11 cm of positive ease built into the pattern, as you can see from the finished measurements. Measure yourself to find the best size for you before castin on. For instance, if you have a bust measurement of 87 cm, you should knit a size S.
