Yarn suggestion for Laine Magazine Issue 12 Hav

The new Laine Magazine, issue 12 Hav, has arrived. Again it contains fantastic designs!

I think my favourite is Rue De Paris from Alma Bali.

It is light as a feather. Knitted for lace weight yarn combined with two strands of silk mohair. Ito Kinu and two strands of Ito Sensai would result in a dreamlike garment.

Isager Spinni and Isager Silk Mohair would alse be a lovely choice. If you want an even softer garment try Alpaca 1 from Isager and add the silk mohair from Isager. Filcolana Alva, a 100 % lace-weight alpaca yarn and any silk mohair, Tilia for example, works just as well.

Autio mittens are also on the list, the mornings have become colder here in Finland. Tukuwool DK in the colorway Rohto would be the best choice.

Then there is of course Sørensdatter from Kristin Drysdale. This stunning stranded colorwork is knitted from Tukuwool Fingering. Tukuwool Fingering update will be coming soon!
