Toivola MKAL begins in July!

Toivola is a place of hope and the home of our lovely yarn shop Lankakauppa Titityy. This shawl was intended as a pre-festival shawl in preparation for the Jyväskylä Summer Knit Festival later this summer. Due to the corona virus epidemic, it is now a comforting mystery shawl, keeping our hands busy during this time when all events have been cancelled. We hope we will meet here, in Toivola Old Court Yard, some day, later than sooner, when it’s safe.

This mystery shawl is worked flat, in one piece, using three different colors. Experiment with different types of yarn for varying textures - or go bold with color! Nearly any color combinations will work well, but wildly variegated or speckled yarns may blur the beautiful stitch patterns. This shawl works also with 2 colors (then colors A and C are the same and color B contrast) or even with one color if you like more solid colors.

Pattern with introduction and yarn kits will be on sale on Friday 5th June. Mystery pattern will be released in 5 clues starting on Friday 3th July, last clue comes out 31th July.
