Knitting patterns for Tukuwool DK

Knitting patterns for Tukuwool DK have been multiplying. Last autumn's definite hit was Andrea Mowry’s Douglas Cardi. I also knit this cardigan, and it’s absolutely great! The buttons are still missing, but it’s such a great design, it doesn’t even need the buttons. Another favourite of mine that I knit from Tukuwool DK is the Havas sweater from Ronja Hakalehto. This is a wardrobe staple for sure! I’d love to knit one in off-white. 


Speaking about off-white, 01 Sake colorway to be more precise, Tukuwool DK got new colorways in December. From these new colors I bought Sake and Sysi, the black one. I don’t have a clear idea yet what I’m gonna make from these. I’m thinking about a colorwork yoke sweater. I also have Tukuwook DK in the colorway Valo and a more clear intention to combine it with Isager Silk Mohair in the colorway 22 Yellow. I already knitted a swatch, now I just need to count and design the pullover. Easy peasy!



Tiina has been hard at work with Tukuwool DK too. She designed the best accessory for winter, the Tuku Warmer cowl and the Vaara mittens. Right now there is an ongoing test knit of the Kannolla Cardigan, that Tiina created for Tukuwool DK and Isager Silk Mohair. Pattern will be out most likely in autumn. 



Beside our own pattern and inspiration there are a lot of new patterns coming for Tukuwool DK, like this awesome Kevätkiuru sweater from Finnish designer Soile Pyhänniska.

Tii pullover - Joji Locatelli

Sari Nordlund’s Salvia Pullover features all the current trends with volume sleeves, bobbles and textured knitting. 

Rauha - Veera Välimäki - Kuva tästä

This classic and stylish sweater has showy cables and bobbles at the front and back. 

Juuri - Anna Johanna 

More cables. Juuri sweater definitely features a few cables. It is a stunner! The sweater has also a turtle neck, positive ease and a slit on both sides. 



Camellia - Anna Johanna

Camellia was especially designed for Tukuwool DK. It is a relaxed colorwork yoke sweater with intricate designs on the hem and cuffs also.

Tukuwool DK is also excellent for accessories. Try knitting the free Koivu hat by Lotta H Löthgren. Use multiple colors or just one.
